Cindermen Establish Coyotes As State's AA Team To Beat

To the surprise of almost everyone, Phoenix Union's Track and" Field team established itself as the team to beat for the 1960 state champion-ship even though members of last year's stellar squad were cut to the bone by graduation. Coach Dick Fuenning, coming up with some outstanding young sprinters, James Hall, a freshman surprise and Ron Phil-lips, a physical education sprint-er heretofore, watched his team sweep past all competitors in the early going.

David Covarrubias hands the baton to Charles Reagen as the Coyotes are on their way to another relay at the South Mountain Relays.
